Prometheus was invented afterward

Hard sci-fi Short Stories.
The collection follows the everyday life of the cosmo-psychologist Amiy Luterna.

He lives in a distant future, working at a research institute that studies the behavior of the Universe.

Elohim is a plural.

The city assigns the Institute a task: to create a Supreme Intelligence.

A group of scientists prepares an experiment, asking a question about the universe — one that the human mind cannot answer. But even if an answer comes, who will it be from?

No Time.

What if you no longer have time for anything?

And what if all the time-management systems fail?

Would that force you to do less, or to choose an easier life — or to step outside of time altogether?

The Firokami cosmo-psychologist did just that.

Read how he did it, and maybe you can too.

Success is much more likely when someone is waiting for you there.

A Handful of Beauty.

There’s trouble in the scientific city near Firokami. Eric is ill.

To understand what it means to fall ill in Firokami, you must know this: lifespan there spans centuries, and some say immortals walk among them. Fractures are healed with ointment; changing one’s sex is a matter of injection.

So when someone is sick, it means no one knows how to cure them.

The brightest medical minds wrestle with the crisis — and Amiy Luterna struggles with another question: the purpose of beauty.

Perhaps the two problems share one solution.

How often do we all turn to the Universe with our requests and desires, asking it to bestow its grace upon us? Over the past few decades, everyone has heard about the wonders of visualization, sending requests into space, and the secrets of the universe. But how does it work? By what rules of the Universe do some receive everything while others do not?
The book *And Prometheus Was Invented Afterward* by AlbireoMKG is written in the science fiction genre. However, in my opinion, it contains more psychology. The collection, which includes two stories, is united by common main characters and a shared setting. However, they are not sequels to one another. The title is intriguing, as is the book’s cover, but it leads the reader far away from the main essence of the narrative. For me, while reading, the book *And Prometheus Was Invented Afterward* felt like genuine notes from a cosmopsychologist in the form of a diary or personal journal entries.
The author has a rather unique writing style. After reading just a few sentences, the vivid text draws you in. You find yourself actively debating with AlbireoMKG, arguing or agreeing through the invisible channel of the universe that the book’s protagonist has opened.
Despite the fact that the author tackles serious topics, the book *And Prometheus Was Invented Afterward* is an easy read. The author’s “telling it like it is” style is captivating. What’s more, you get the impression that you’re not just reading a book, but instantly feel like a participant in the events.
It’s impressive how accurately AlbireoMKG creates a psychological portrait of each character in the book. The main character is far from the best of the best, both in his field of study and in interpersonal relationships. He is tormented by doubts, even envy and malice. He tries to keep his ego and negative emotions in check around others, but deep down, he’s often in turmoil. The characterizations of the secondary characters also deserve attention. The author needs only a few words to paint a picture, and you already know exactly who is standing before you and what drives them—whether they are a rising star or someone living as if in the palm of God’s hand. Nevertheless, each story maintains a sense of intrigue. As the reader turns the pages, the tension builds. The story’s resolution, in turn, prompts even deeper reflection.
AlbireoMKG is an unusual author. The main plot in his books hardly depends on character development. What matters most are the reflections and conclusions. It’s definitely a talent—to make the central focus of a book something that other authors don’t particularly strive to develop in their stories, just as they don’t delve into the hidden meaning of what’s happening. How many people do you know who are interested in the psychology of the universe’s behavior;) and more?
Although the book *And Prometheus Was Invented Afterward* contains many of the author’s arguments and reflections, these are not just grand statements thrown into eternity. Every word has its logical basis; all conceivable and inconceivable theories are presented in a way that is easy and accessible to the reader.
“And Prometheus Was Invented Afterward” is not just introductory literature. The book prompts every reader to reflect on what is important: how a person comprehends life in its fullest sense, through the prism of their own perception. After all, only they themselves are accountable and bear responsibility for their existence; and if there is no interest in life, then no one needs that person.
One of the themes the author raises is religion. It is an incredibly complex and vast subject. However, the author considers the possibility of connecting with God solely as a scientific experiment. He doesn’t impose anything on anyone, but simply tells it as it is.
How should one properly pray to God? How strongly must one believe in order for Him to hear you or give a sign? Yet even here, there are no guarantees. And if the opportunity arises to receive an answer from God, what would you ask?
Another topic the author touches on is dreaming. We have absolutely no idea what the soul is capable of in our dreams. Indeed, what can one say when there isn’t even a precise explanation for why some people dream in black and white while others dream in color? Lucid dreaming has also brought humans a little closer to those capabilities they rarely utilize. However, this topic will continue to intrigue inquisitive minds for generations to come.
In the book *And Prometheus Was Invented Afterward*, everything is important to AlbireoMKG. Every reflection or saying is part of the conclusion to which the author gently leads the reader. Nevertheless, this is not a condescending view born of experience and the passage of time, but a journey together along the path of discovery toward the truth. AlbireoMKG awakens in the reader a desire to question absolutely everything. After all, no one can guarantee that you are not, in fact, merely a part of the dream of a little green dinosaur peacefully nibbling grass in a meadow.
